Plastic utensils, napkins, and straws are commonly included with restaurant delivery. Customers who consume your food at home usually don’t require all of that, so asking them beforehand might be a good way to avoid that some of these items be thrown to the bin without even being used.
Remove any extra packing or covering. So rather than placing your dinner in a box, covering it in foil to seal it, and then placing it in a plastic bag, consider if this is actually required to keep the dinner in good form or whether you’re going a little too far.
